Across Cultures 2006 Egypt is a follow up to Across Cultures 2004 USA and Across Cultures 2005 Baltics. In October 2004, a group of Baltic business leaders saw the best Seattle , Washington has to offer. from its corporate headquarters to academic halls, to local living rooms, and beautiful environs. Se attle , which has a strong Baltic heritage and the most comprehensive Baltic Studies program in the U.S. at the University of Washington , was the perfect locale for this exchange. In 2005, a multinational group of business leaders were hosted in the Baltics and featured discussions with community organizations and business leaders.

The emphasis of Across Cultures is to enhance the leadership potential of enterprising executives, managers, and entrepreneurs. This unique, U.S. Embassy-endorsed event focuses on cultivating partnerships to support business leaders and increase economic equity for a socially responsible, sustainable future. Across Cultures will introduce participants to various training, philosophies, trends, and practices that promote socially responsible leadership and the advancement of women. The program will focus on Human Rights, Access to Information, Economic Equity, and Cultural Experience (see  Program for details).
